Terms and conditions

ACCEPTANCE. Booking any service implies the absolute and unconditional acceptance of these general conditions.

USER. The person making the reservation must be of legal age and is responsible for the truthfulness of the data supplied.

It is not allowed to exceed the number of people stipulated in the original reservation without prior authorization.

NUMBER OF PEOPLE USING THE ACCOMMODATION. The customer can only host the maximum number of people stated in the characteristics of the accommodation and the contracted rate. Subletting of the total or of a part of the of the dwelling is strictly prohibited.

PREPAYMENT. The system requests a credit card payment or bank transfer of 50% of the total rental charge and its reservation will be conditioned to the acceptance of the payment by the banking institution. The remaining amount must be paid before the key’s delivery, either in cash (subject to legal limits), credit card or bank transfer.

BOOKING. The reservation can be made by phone, email or online on our website. The reservation will be completed when the user receives a confirmation email indicating the booking code or localizer. 

VAT is included in the final price and the amount of the reservation does NOT include the tourist tax in force at the time of the stay. The tourist tax must be paid on arrival at the property.

ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE

Check-in: The property is available for occupation from 4:00 pm on the first day of the holiday. If you wish an earlier check-in, get in contact with us and we will do our best to please you.

Check-out: The accommodation must be vacated by 12:00 pm on the last day. For later departures, please contact us and we will study the possibility.

If, on the departure day, the client does not leave the property, he will be obliged to pay three times the rent set in the contract, for the time he remains in the property, plus compensation for any damages that may occur.

CLEANING. The property will be made available to the client in due conditions of cleanliness. The client undertakes to leave the accommodation in good order and in a reasonable clean condition, free of garbage or food scraps. It is the guests' responsibility to wash dishes and deposit trash in municipal waste containers.

Otherwise a cleaning or maintenance charge will be levied.

Please abide by this convention so we can continue to provide good value for guests.

EXPENSES AND SERVICES INCLUDED. Electricity and water supply, Internet access, initial and final cleaning, weekly change of sheets and towels are included in the price (beach towels are not). Daily cleaning is billed according to customer’s demand.

EQUIPMENT. The guest agrees to return the property in its original furniture and equipment condition.

CHANGES. We reserve the right to change the contracted property for another one of similar or superior characteristics. These changes are free of charge for the client.

WARRANTY

On the arrival day, the guest will leave a deposit as a guarantee against damage, theft and possible inconvenience to neighbours, which must be confirmed by credit card. This operation will be unblocked within 7 working days once the condition of the house has been checked after departure, as well as the return of the keys. We do not accept cash deposits, only credit cards. If you do not comply with this condition upon arrival, there will be a breach of contract and the company reserves the right to deny access to our facilities.

GENERAL RULES

No pets or animals allowed.

It is forbidden to smoke within properties.

Guests should not cause nuisance or annoyance to occupants of any nearby property. Parties, bachelor parties and loud music are not allowed. Neighbours’ rest must be respected from 22:00 - 09:00 hours and a reasonable noise level must be maintained throughout the day.

If repeated excessive noise complaints from neighbours are received, Cancorda may ask the tenants to leave the house without the right to any compensation.

Remember to lock the doors and close the windows when leaving your property unoccupied.

Not adapted for disabled access

CANCELLATION. If the guest cancels, for whatever reason, then no refund will be due.

In case the customer informs about the impossibility of occupying the property and this one is put up for rent again (with the client's authorization), the new rent will give the right to compensation up to the amount of the new re-rent, on a pro rata basis.

If the client does not show up, 100% of the amount will be charged.

DATA PROTECTION. All requested data is required as part of the contract.

COMMERCIAL COMMUNICATIONS AND PROMOTIONAL OFFERS: The customer authorizes Can Corda to send him promotional communications by e-mail as long as he can unsubscribe at any time.

CANCELLATION POLICY OPTION: for information purposes only, there is the possibility of taking out cancellation insurance, within 48 hours after booking the trip, at the following link This travel cancellation insurance covers the refund of cancellation charges for any proved, sudden and unforeseeable event ocurred beyond your control by paying a premium of approximately 3% of the total amount of your trip. CANCELLATION DUE TO COVID-19: In the event of inability to travel as a result of insurmountable restrictions between the origin of the traveler and Can Corda in Formentera, the full refund of the amount paid will be applied, whether or not cancellation insurance has been contracted, when we are in a case of cancellation due to Force Majeure.
